We are always working on new ideas/designs here at Sodura. We would like to share some of those with you, today. Here are a few “new” things that we have in the works.
First, we have prototype of a table and stool set, which is shown in the image of this post. We are thinking of making this item in two different sizes. The design for this was a collaboration of ideas and I am really liking how it turned out. This prototype is actually sort of an in between size, that our son loves as a little kid’s desk – maybe another idea…
Storage is always an issue when it comes to the kids room, and our Aero Bookcase is one of the top items in our small line. So, we are working on a lot of different storage ideas right now. If you want to add in your two cents about any clever storage ideas that you have, please leave a comment. We are thinking of some sort of cubby/shelf idea. We haven’t come up with a design that we love yet, but we are still working on it. Another idea is a nice set of wall hooks that can be made to match any of the stains or colors we use. I know that I am always looking for a hook to hang jackets or clothes that aren’t quite dirty enough to clean yet, how about you?
The third major area that we are focused on, and it kind-of goes with the storage theme, is a changing station/ chest of drawers. The Aero Bookcase has been adapted to include drawers and and big shelf at the bottom. So far, we have a prototype in our house and it’s a big hit. We’ll write more about that in a follow up post.
