My son broke his first piggy bank over a year ago and still talks about getting one. So, the other day we made one! We took a large glass jar and glued the top on. With Dad’s help, we cut a slit in the top with a knife (there may be a safer way to do this.) I thought it could use a little spicing up, so I found some colored permanent markers that we drew some designs with. I think it turned out nice! Then we put it on his Aero Bookcase in his room.
